03. Individual Therapy
Our Psychologist Ellen Wright is experienced in providing psychological therapy on a wide range of issues to assist you to fully engage in your life in a way that feels important and meaningful to you. Ellen is experienced in working with anxiety, depression, stress, grief and loss, interpersonal issues, emotional regulation and relationship issues using a range of evidence based therapies including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive Behaviour Therapy.
In terms of improving your relationship, whilst couples therapy is the recommended approach, we recognise that there may be times you would like to attend individually. In some cases there may be one partner who is unwilling to attend, or perhaps you would like to work through some of your own personal issues that are impacting your relationship prior to or in conjunction with seeing couples therapy. As Ellen is also trained in Gottman Method Couples Therapy she is able to work sensitively with individuals experiencing relationship issues.
